Citronella oil
Citronella oil is extracted from a resilient grass (Cymbopogon nardus) native to Sri Lanka and Java. It is credited with having therapeutic properties as an antiseptic, deodorant, insecticide, parasitic, tonic and as a stimulant. Nonetheless, most people will associate it with its insecticide properties. Citronella oil repels insects rather than kills them by masking scents that are attractive to them.

Neem tree (Azadirachta indica) translates into: “The Free Tree Of India” and has been used traditionally for many centuries. In India it is known as “the village pharmacy”. It is used to deter all sorts of insects, mosquitos, bugs, fleas and mites.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is the most versatile of all essential oils. It’s healing, soothing, antiseptic and analgesic properties make it the first choice for minor burns and wounds, itchy bites and aggravated skin conditions.
